Maker pHAT for Raspberry Pi – Headless Setup, GPIO Debugging & Built-In I/O

The Maker pHAT for Raspberry Pi is designed to make electronics, coding, and headless setup dramatically easier for beginners, educators, and STEM learners. With built-in USB-to-UART, onboard LEDs, push buttons, and an active buzzer, this Raspberry Pi HAT simplifies GPIO debugging, troubleshooting, and prototyping.

It eliminates the need for extra components, messy wiring, or a monitor-keyboard setup - making it perfect for classrooms, DIY projects, and Raspberry Pi learning environments.

Maker pHAT fits perfectly on Raspberry Pi Zero and works seamlessly with Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+/4B models using the included stacking header. It provides labeled GPIO pins for easy connection, LED indicators for real-time feedback, and push-button support for proper system shutdown.

Whether you are exploring electronics, teaching students, or building quick prototypes, Maker pHAT delivers a smoother, faster, and frustration-free Raspberry Pi learning experience.

Features:

• Designed in Raspberry Pi Zero size, stacking perfectly on Pi Zero / Zero W / Zero WH and fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+/3A+/4B series.

• Supports headless setup easily via onboard USB-to-UART (Rev1.10 uses FT231X), removing the need for monitor, keyboard, or mouse.

• Equipped with LED indicators for key GPIO pins (GPIO 17, 18, 27, 22, 25, 12, 13, 19) to simplify GPIO learning and debugging.

• Features 3 programmable push buttons (GPIO 21, 19, 20) for input learning and safe shutdown functionality.

• Includes active buzzer on GPIO 26 for audio output in projects and coding exercises.

• Comes with clearly labeled GPIO footprint, including SPI, UART, I2C, 5V, 3.3V & GND for easier wiring and prototyping.

• Powered via USB Micro-B 5V input from laptop, USB adapter, or power bank.

• Built using a Purple PCB, making it visually attractive for classroom and DIY setups.
