125KHz EM4100 RFID Card Read Module

The 125KHz Card Mini-Module is designed for reading code from 125KHz/ 134.2KHz card-compatible read-only tags and read/write a card. It can be applied in office/home security, personal identification, access control, anti-forgery, interactive toy, and production control systems.

This module is easy to use, serial port connects to Arduino MCU after power-up when the RFID card enters into the card reading range, this module will send the card number to Arduino by UART You can further connect the relay Arduino shield to your Arduino in order to enable the simple door keeper controlling system.

RFID or Radio Frequency Identification system consists of two main components, a transponder/tag attached to an object to be identified, and a Transceiver also known as an interrogator/Reader. A Reader consists of a Radio Frequency module and an antenna that generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field.
